Q.How do I get Pets?
A.To get a pet, you must first sign up, then go to the adoptables page and grab an egg. There isn't normally more than one outcome, so please don't take more than two of each egg at most. Signup is free and easy :3.
Q.How do I make them grow?
A.To make your pet grow, you have to get people to click it. Just stick it somewhere (like in your forum signature) and it will grow soon enough. Each IP can feed the pet once per day, so if you show up once a day you should be able to get them growing all by yourself (granted, it will take more time.)
Q.How come some people have adoptables that I can't get?
A.Either I made an adoptable specifically for them and we arranged a time and place for them to pick it up (unlikely) or it's an adoptable from a past month. Every month, the adoptable linearts are re-coloured and the ones from the previous month are no longer available.
Problems?
Q.Hang on, it isn't growing!
A.Either you aren't getting enough clicks or it's my fault. Generally any problems with the site are my fault and not yours.
Q.That code you gave me doesn't work!
A.If you look at the code, you should be able to temporarily fix it yourself, but email me anyway since others are most likely having the same problem as you.
Misc.
Q.How did you make this site?
A.I use CSS and HTML to build the site itself :3 Some people use Dreamweaver but I tried and I'm an epic fail at it! The header image and all of the adopt images were made in Photoshop.
Q.I have a suggestion for an adoptable species.
A.Excellent! Keep in mind that I may not be interested/have the time to make it, but it helps considerably if you draw up a sketch. Email me and let me know.
Q.How can I get a website?
A.I'd use a free host and use html. I have a few tutorials on html and layouts on my personal blog, moxiferous.net. I DO NOT advise using freewebs. Their uploading and .zip file services leave a lot to be desired, as well as the fact that they don't support PHP.
Q."Made an Adoptable Specifically?" Does that mean you make adoptables for people?
A.In one word, no. I don't. I used to, on the Somethings, but now I don't because I have 10 different (some are on the way) Sola-Erian species to re-colour, and an actual life. Sometimes I do, for certain people (if they bribe me.)
